Peter Robertson joined Bateman Law Group in 2023 and practices primarily in the fields of personal injury, residential & commercial landlord/tenant, consumer bankruptcy, contracts, real estate, and municipal law.

Peter is licensed to practice in the state of Kansas.

Peter resides in Lansing, Kansas.

Peter graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration from the University of Kansas in 1989. After graduating Peter worked in various sales and marketing positions in the greater Kansas City metropolitan area.  In 1994, Peter joined Townsend Outlook Publishing (Kansas City, Missouri) and was quickly promoted to Director of New Product Development after creating successful college recruitment publications for high school art and music students.

After years as a successful marketing professional Peter decided to follow in his father’s footsteps and pursue a career in law.

After graduating Washburn University School of Law Peter became a Legal Analyst at Shook, Hardy & Bacon from 2006-2008 where he reviewed and coded sensitive corporate documents from a large international pharmaceutical company in response to discovery requests as part of nationwide product liability class action litigation.  He was promoted to the Quality Control Team in August 2007 and became responsible for training/review of his peers’ work for quality assurance.

Peter then joined Crow & Associates in Leavenworth, Kansas as an Associate Attorney practicing in the areas of personal injury, residential & commercial landlord/tenant, consumer bankruptcy, contracts, real estate consumer protection and general civil litigation from 2009 – 2023.  During this time Peter was involved in two Kansas appellate cases, one in which the Kansas Supreme Court changed/clarified long held precedent involving the law of employer negligence in the state of Kansas, and the other in which the Kansas Court of Appeals upheld summary judgment in favor of Peter’s clients in an invasion of privacy, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and wrongful death case.  Peter was also lead counsel representing the Leavenworth Waterworks Department in civil litigation and contract matters.
